Without realizing it, we become surprisingly <em>\u201eefficient\u201d<\/em> in managing situations that do not exist\u2026 yet.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember372\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The challenge is that most of this mental activity is consumed in the wrong place. Somewhere between anxiety and responsibility, we end up investing enormous amounts of time and energy without giving it another thought. <strong><em>\u201eMeaning\u201d<\/em><\/strong> of a <strong><em>\u201eSomething\u201d<\/em><\/strong> what is tearing apart under our eyes.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"reader-text-block__code-block\"><code>The distance between them can be a simple concentric structure of the \u00abAttachment\u00bb:<\/code><\/pre>\n<p id=\"ember373\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong><em>Circle 1 \u2014 What you control <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember374\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><em>Your actions. Your reactions. Your effort. Your decisions<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember375\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong><em>Circle 2 \u2014 What you can influence<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember376\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><em>Relationships. Conversations. Directions. Results.<\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember377\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong><em> Circle 3 \u2014 What you don\u2019t control<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember378\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><em> Other people. The past. The future. Time. The way you are interpreted. The fact that life sometimes refuses to follow the script negotiated in your mind.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember379\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">Ironically, it is precisely here that the majority of Overthinking occurs.<\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember380\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Overthinking is rarely about clarity\u2026 more often, it is about resistance. It becomes a sophisticated attempt to negotiate with uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember381\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Not because we like to suffer. But because the real vulnerability is much more uncomfortable to accept and integrate than the illusion of control.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember382\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">This is how we end up confusing mental effort with responsibility. To believe that if we keep a problem in our mind enough, we also have the power to control it. If we give it a purpose <em>\u201enoble\u201d<\/em>, It is absolutely necessary to <em>\u201eunquestioned\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember383\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">But as we invest more and more energy in <strong>Circle 3<\/strong>, We become increasingly less available to<strong> Circle 1<\/strong>\u2014 the only place where there is still a real possibility of movement.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember384\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">This is where depletion also appears: when emotional consumption and real influence no longer have any connection between them.<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"ember385\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">Not every outcome belongs to us. Not every discomfort needs to be resolved immediately.
