Smile. Try it.
Even if we don’t feel joy today, we can bring it back from our past and from our experiences. It is proof that we can desire and we can have. Joy is a state in which the soul exists in a timeless “Now.” Your body transforms, your muscles relax just by naming it. Your eyes fill with light, your arms open, and your hands long to embrace.
Try it. Smile. You will feel hope, energy, and strength—you will feel that you can do, that you have done before, that you don’t want it to end. Always look around you from within. That is your resource and your reservoir that never runs out.
It is not easy to move beyond the noise of desires and expectations, but here lies our navigator, our command center, the one we are born with and that never leaves us. Sometimes we are the ones who leave it—by drifting away or by choosing not to look within, in the illusion of failure. Yet joy is still there, waiting for a single glance, a single smile to accompany us when things feel harder.
Don’t forget: joy is an emotion, not a situation, not a relationship. It is You in your purest state.
From there, you can rebuild, grow, and find motivation. You can always return there.
